Misty Sunshine

I discovered this beautiful scene while plein air painting in SC on vacation. I absolutely loved the directional light coming through the trees. The softness of the distant trees contrasting the foreground trees was a pleasure to paint. It was done with a pastel and alcohol under painting using adjacent colors. Then right into overlaying local color.
