Master Artisans

This painting is part of my "Heritage Series". Being half Ukrainian and half Greek, I wanted to do a series of paintings that expressed the highlights of each culture. I have done three paintings using the marvelous images of Ukrainian Easter eggs created in the Psanky Egg dying method, which are so skillfully crafted and vividly colored by the artisans of many of the Slavic countries. This is painted on Sennelier La Carte Pastel Card.
