Monhegan, South Shore

A beautiful day on the south shore of Mohegan Island in Maine, a great place for artists and art making! The rugged geometry of those fractured granite rocks, the way the rich, ultramarine blue ocean lapped against the shore, and even that unexpected dash of yellow lichen combined to make me fall in love with the moment and the scene.
