The Poet King

I have known this man for 40 years; he is enigmatic, often unfathomable, and lives on an entirely different planet than anyone I have ever known. He is poet/composer/songwriter/writer/performer/actor…unique in every possible way. I think the word “fascinating” is often the word that people use to describe him. My challenge: to somehow convey that personality in a portrait. I don’t think I am that good, but I did manage to get that enigmatic smile I think. I notice there is a little bit of green that oddly appeared around his left eye; somehow an inadvertent, yet apropo reference to Seven of Nine in StarTrek because, with this man, “Resistance IS futile.”
