Broadway Joe
Soft pastesl on black UArt 400. This familiar scene stirs warm thoughts of my years in NYC and many early mornings strolls along upper Broadway. Initial work was repeated trials of the working hands before beginning sketch with Nupastels. Creating the perspective had challenge on placement, especially shadows and saucer! A long process and but so gratifying to see him come to life enjoying his morning joe.
