Dream Sequence
This is a floral painting from photographs I took. I asked the flowers to pose for me and they were flattered. I had to rearrange them several times. The paper I used was Art Spectrum Colorfix in a warm green. The painting was done in pastels using Terry Ludwig, Richardson and Blue Earth. I sketched lightly with pastel pencil and then applied several coats lightly until I can get the shapes, after that I try to follow the painting taking advantage of happy accidents.
