Untamed Texas Sky
The big West Texas sky renders even the mountains insignificant. This thunderstorm built in a flash of energy and eclipsed this sprawling mountain. Movement and the sky's dynamic energy orchestrated the composition of my painting. I worked as many subtle color variations into the cloud mass as I could, because who wants a pure white cloud?
