"WEEPING WILLOW AT FALL IN VANDUSEN BOTANICAL GARDEN"
I paint out in this garden as often as I can in cold, wind, and sunshine. I liked the weeping willow and while I was working out the trees I saw a large cedar canoe called "Black Eagle" carved by artist Bill Reid. It is magnificent and I wanted to carry this power through my work especially in the reflections in Heron Lake.
